College acceptances reflect the past five years of Stoneleigh-Burnham School graduates.

Student & Alumnae Profiles

Rachel ’21 In her senior year as part of her independent study, Rachel founded “Sweats for Pets” to raise money for an animal shelter in Iksan, South Korea. She wanted a project that would make a long-term impact on a community she really cared about so she designed and sold tie-dye sweatpants online, eventually raising close to $500 for the animal shelter.

Breanna ’22 Breanna joined SBS in Grade 7 and became the Student Council President in Grade 12. In her speech to Grade 8 during SBS’s “Moving Up” ceremony in May, Breanna told the soon-to-be high school students, “Each and every one of you is an intelligent person with diverse opinions and interests, and I encourage you to explore them both candidly and introspectively.”

Breanna joined SBS in Grade 7 and became the Student Council President in Grade 12. McKenna ’22 After just a year of debate & public speaking at SBS, McKenna took home First Place in the After Dinner Speaking category and Second Place in Interpretative Reading at the World Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championships in 2021. In addition to her debate win, McKenna was also her class president, the co-president of the Debate & Public Speaking Team, a member of the SBS Equestrian team, founder of “Horse Treats” (@yourhorsetreats), and the 2021 recipient of the Rensselaer Medal and scholarship.
